Time sure flies! I am so ready to plant some flowers. I went looking at Lowe's and Home Depot but they did not have a big selection yet. I am being impatient for the good weather. I just do not want it to go from 50 to 90 degrees.

Barb and I are going to have a garage sale either next week end or the following weekend. Stay tuned for details and tell all your friends!

I have been feeling very good. I weighed myself at work and "unofficially" I am up to 60 lbs lost. I do not have near as much pain in my knees and back which is so great. I am walking more and we are doing a program at work that encourages everyone to walk more. They are giving us pedometers to track our steps. The office with the most wins bragging rights and maybe a plaque. Anyway, it's an excuse to get away from my desk and move more.

I am looking forward to the return of the humming birds.............Above is a picture from one year ago.

March 19, 2010

Wow, what a beautiful day! I have the urge to plant something but will wait just a bit longer. I am feeling good lately and grateful for it. We are going to do a "walk challenge" at work and I am going to participate. We will wear pedometers and add up our score. Give me an excuse to get up out of my chair.
Still hoping to sell my SUV. I will post it on Craig's list and see if I get any bites. Also, I am having a garage sale. Most likely next week end at 604 Golfview Drive. I will get my stuff together this week end to prepare. Oh fun!
Getting the spring fever pretty bad! Anyone else? I am having the urge to visit grand children. I would also love to just lay on a beach and listen to the surf.......ahhh............

Many thanks to Kacy for the pictures and keeping everyone updated! My apologies to those of you that keep getting forwarded e-mails from me - I am not sending them! I have some funky virus that has gotten into my contacts that sends random spam to everyone. It is really strange. We have updated our virus software but they continue to go out.
I am feeling good. My clothes are starting to get too baggy. I am waiting for 75lbs until I buy anything new - just one or two things. I am still working on increasing my water intake (i get full so quick!) and increasing my protein - I am supposed to have 60-80 gms a day! I will just keep working on it till I get it right. I am doing well on getting my supplements in every day.
We are trying to sell our vehicle. It is a great little SUV and we just want to pay it off. We are going to try to sell the house as well and hope to move into Peachtree City so that we can use a golf cart as a second vehicle. Spread the word! Also, if anyone knows of a job near by, Ron is looking.
I sure hope we get some rain................

Car for Sale

Hello again, this is another guest blog from Kacy since my Aunt is M.I.A. in cyber world!!!!

So....the weather is starting to warm-up in spurts in GA. That's a good thing, because hopefully it will be easier to get outside and walk and break a sweat. Aunt Libby is still committed to exercise and making healthy food choices...so keep it up!!

She is now interested in selling her car. It's a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, white, like the one below. If anyone knows someone who is interested in a new SUV, pass the word around!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and I will put the pressure on Aunt Libby to blog some more so you don't have to read my rambles too often. :)

Guest blog from kacy :)

Hi everybody!

Thanks so much for following my Aunt Libby. I know the support really means a lot to her. I am just as anxious as you all are to see pics of her...and she is stubborn, so I am taking it into my own hands. :) Below, I have posted her first picture (pre-surgery) and one from this past Friday (2/26/2010)

She is doing great and working hard! Definitely looking forward to the summer when she can start to get in the water and do some strength and conditioning there! She is on her way!!

One more picture I liked from a few weeks ago :)
