Yesterday was a weird day. I got up and Ron and I cleaned the kitchen; wiped down cupboards, cleaned fridge, etc and I felt pretty good. Then, in the afternoon I had a lot of stomach discomfort and yuck! I just never know. Anyway, most of the day was good.
I am trying to decide a time for Nate and family to come out. Originally, we were going to have a family reunion in St. Augustine and I told them to plan on attending. In the meantime that has fallen through, but I forgot to mention it to them! Now, I am scrambling to see if our family can get together for a mini reunion.
Ron is looking for work and I know when he gets a job the anxiety will lift a great deal. The dreary weather does not either. I am ready for spring.....I think.
I am having trouble drinking protein shakes. They seem to upset my stomach (like most things). Also, I am worried that I am eating too much. I was reading my "information packet" and it says to eat 2-3 ounces at a time. I know I was eating more than that.... a yogurt is 4 ounces. I will discuss this with my group- anyone have any insight on this? Rox?
I still am working on getting in fluids. My newest trial is to drink 1/4 every hour. I just go in the kitchen and take a shot of water out of my new and cute measuring cup.
I also think I need Jillian to light a fire under my butt.

Hey it was good to hear about your burst of energy! Thats yet another 'big' step to a better tomorrow.And the reason you felt kinda yucky afterwards is I would assume your still healing on the inside and you could have overdone it a bit. Stretching,bending,pulling and lifting can cause those feelings on the inside.Lib as far as the feeling like your eating too much... I would say just watch more closely the ounces and do eat about every 2-3 hrs a small portion. I know you will feel like your eating all the time but actually it will give your tummy time to digest and get rid of what you had 2 hrs prior.And you will find your full at some point. It's also a mind set. And about the protein drinks ...protein is very important so what I would do is eat the foods high in protein as priority and try sipping ALL DAY long on your drink. Drinking also will fill you up.Can you eat protein bars yet ? Do you know what size in ounces your stomach was reduced to ? Knowing that can also get you in a mind set as to not over eat .It's not easy getting in all your suppose to ...many times I did'nt.I did the best I could and as long as your bloodwork comes back ok your fine.Even the vitimans seem to make me feel full.Going to group meetings and compairing stories will help a great deal.Lots of answers there!I went to them for about 18mo. Also a year before surgery just to get an idea what to exspect;which I found out we are all different in our tolerances.
